this is the place to find a running list of things you may not have known about reredd
- Submissions are sorted by points on the date they were submitted. Reddit's rankings are dynamic, so it's not a perfect time machine.
- reredd.com/m will render a list of the current headlines on reddit. Good for mobile phones?
- If you recommend something, it will bump to the top of the recommended page. Sorts by the time it was last recommended.
Searching is fairly primitive. Right now there is a bug when something is tagged or recommended, it will move to the back of the search results. Reddit's search appears to finally be usable anyway.Search is broken at the moment.- Tags can be multi-word.
- Thanks to kn0thing for the Alien of the Day suggestion.
- Non-linking of reddit comments. I consider this a feature.
Features to come (if someone visits this site besides me)
- Better searching. With sort options.
- Finding submissions by multiple tags (instead of just one).
- Preferences: ability to filter submissions by tags, and default per page listing.
- Re-submit missing items. I imagine I'm still missing quite a few (good) submissions. All I need is a "reddit id" or the user who submitted it. I'll automate it next commit, til then you can just send it to me.
- Ask!
